Frederik Marinus Kruseman
1816-1882

Frederik Marinus Kruseman was born in Haarlem in 1816, he died in Brussels in 1882.
He worked in Hilversum and Haarlem. After 1858 he settled near Brussels (Belgium). F.M Kruseman was een student of Jan van Ravenswaay, N.J. Roosenboom and B.C. Koekkoek.
He was a painter of summer- and winterlandscapes. Especially his winterlandscapes are much in demand. Paintings by F.M. Kruseman in numerous Dutch museums.
