Adrianus Eversen
1818-1897
Adrianus Eversen was one of the most talented students
of Cornelis Springer. He followed his famous teacher in
the choise of his motifs and designs. In contrast with Springer
most of Eversens paintings are not topographical to be
placed. With great succes Adrianus Eversen participated in
exhibitions of the "Levende Meesters" in Amsterdam,
Rotterdam and The Hague.
Paintings by Eversen in possession of museums in Alkmaar,
Amsterdam, Enkhuizen, Enschede and Rotterdam and in the
Victoria and Albert Museum in Londen.
