Charles Leickert
1816-1907
Charles Henri Joseph "Charles" Leickert, born in
Brussels -Belgium- 1816, died in Mainz -Germany- 1907.
Charles Leickers was a student from Adreas Schelfhout.
He lived in Holland and after 1887 in Mainz, Germany.
Charles Leickert, well known painter of landscapes,
townviews and beaches, especially in wintertime.
He became member of the Royal Art Society, Amsterdam
in 1856. Also member of Arti et Amicitiae, Amsterdam
Works by Charles Leickert are in possesion of all
the big museums in The Netherlands.
