Isaac Israels
1865-1934
Isaac Israels was born in Amsterdam 1865 and died
in The Hague 1934.
Son of Jozef Israels (1824-1911). Pupil of the Artschool
in Amsterdam and in The Hague.
Isaac Israels travelled to Switserland, Italy and Indonesia.
He painted figures, portraits, artists, young women,
townviews and military scenes.
Isaac Israels was a very important Dutch impressionist
painter.
His works are in many museums in Holland and abroad.
