Two girls standing on the beach, Viareggio, Italy
"Don't believe you will find happiness in travelling ... Not at all ... ". this is a remarkable quotation in a letter that Isaac Israels sent in 1928 from the Lido in Venice to friends in The Netherlands. He is 63 years old, no worries for money, he can do what he most loves to do: painting in a world with -for him- no worries.
