Louis Verboeckhoven was born in Warneton in 1802, he died
in Brussels in 1898 (Belgium)
He specialised in painting sailors and seascapes.
There was a close co-operation between Louis Verboeckhoven,
his father Barthelemy and his brother Eugène.
He travelled a lot and was a member of the "Salon de Paris" and
of the Academy of Amsterdam..
