Marie Henri Mackenzie
1878-1961

Marie Henrie Mackenzie was born in Rotterdam 1878, he died in
Hilversum 1961.
Student of the Art School in Rotterdam and
G.H. Breitner in Amsterdam.
First painting was a hobby for Marie H. Mackenzie but,
after 1931, he completely devoted himself to painting.
He painted in the same style as his famous teacher Breitner.
M.H. Mackenzie, painter of landscapes, figures, portraits,
town- and harbour views.
Works in the Goois Museum, Hilversum and the Rijkscollectie.
