Gerard J. Staller
1880-1956

Gerard Johan Staller was born in Amsterdam 1880, he died
in Amsterdam 1956.
Student of the Art School in Amsterdam. He lived his whole
life in Amsterdam but he made long trips in Germany and
Belgium.
He was called "painter of the Jewish common-life". His
favorite items were the typical streets of Amsterdam,
especially the "Jordaan".
