C.P. ‘t Hoen, 1814 - 1880.
Cornelis Petrus ‘t Hoen was born in Amsterdam, 3rd March 1814,he died in Brussels, 30th August 1880.
Pupil of G.A. roth, of A. Waldorp and A. Schelfhout.
Student of the Akademie van Beeldende Kunst (Academy of Design) in The Hague.
Lived and worked in The Hague, Amsterdam and by the end of 1859 he left Holland and went to Brussels.
C.P. ‘t Hoen was primary a merchant and an amateur-painter, later he applied himsewlf totally to painting.
In 1840 he became a member of the Royal Academy in Amsterdam.
Exhibitions in Amsterdam and The Hague.
